Burlington, MA, December, 2010 — Axis Business Solutions of Portsmouth, N.H., recently came to the aid of the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC) with a donation of desktop computers.

“A friend of one of our employees mentioned that the Chamber was founded about three or four years ago and is growing fast but is in need of new technology,” said Axis owner Peter Estes. “We and our clients can certainly relate to that. It wasn’t a hard decision to help them out.”

“Axis is a solid company and a good neighbor,” said Jim Murphy, BACC president and CEO. “Our Chamber has over 600 contacts in our distribution list with whom we communicate regularly through email and our website. We can certainly use the additional computing power to better serve and further grow our membership through the use of a more efficient, effective and interactive communications platform.”

The company continues to grow, even within the current economic environment.

“We seemed to be needed more because of the downturn,” said Estes. “Our clients trusted us to help them cut expenses, while maintaining, and in some cases, improving their technical capabilities.

"We are seen as their technology advisors," Estes said. "We plan the project, procure the technology, implement it, and supervise the process. It’s one-stop shopping that saves clients time, money, and aggravation.”

Axis understands the business challenges we face and the goals we have in mind for our network. We don’t have to go into a lot of detail, because they make it a point to know our business inside and out.
