October, 2010 — The eCoast brand has been a driving force for technology in the New Hampshire Seacoast since its inception in 1999. This October, eCoast, a sub-brand of the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce, is combining forces with the NH High Technology Council to bring TechWorld 2010 to Portsmouth. Leading this effort is an all-volunteer steering committee made up of employees from the Seacoast’s most influential technology businesses including the rapidly growing Axis Business Solutions.

“There are several factors that contribute to our growth,” explained Peter Estes, owner of Axis Business Solutions located on Green Street in Portsmouth. “One of those is being located in such a fertile area for technology. So, when the Portsmouth Chamber asked us to be part of the steering committee for TechWorld we jumped at the chance.”  Estes started the company in 2004 and was its only employee. Today, the company boasts $16 million in profits and employs 22 people from around the New Hampshire and Maine seacoast.
